The journey of becoming a PM

The aimed of the event was to increase the awareness on how to become project management from an unusual background. We had as a guest Jens Tatum that shared his life journey as a professional throughout different companies and roles to his current role.
This event started with a short introduction of PMIYP and what different opportunities as a young professional within the Danish chapter are available. Then, Jens shared his personal experience as a PMI member and what is needed to be a good project management f.x. Knowledge of projects and skills that good leaders have. He also shared reasons to become a member of PMI and different strategies to grow and learn as PM.
From PMIYP this event was the perfect event to close down the year. The attendees perceived the event as insightful and interesting, which gave us good knowledge and great satisfaction for upcoming events in 2020.
